Subsidised group travel to BETT show

The Bett show is fast approaching and it is expected that around 40,000 education professionals will be drawn together by their common belief in the power of technology to transform teaching and learning. After many years at Olympia, the show is relocating to a new home, ExCeL London, a larger and much more modern space in London’s revitalised Docklands area. The move has enabled the organisers to offer a massively larger programme of FREE-TO-ATTEND CPD workshops, seminar and discussion sessions. With schools’ CPD budgets under pressure, and with local authorities less and less able to provide support, guidance and training, a visit to Bett has never been more valuable. Schools in London and the southeast understand this, with some London boroughs being represented by more than half of their schools at the show. But for schools that are located much further from London, the cost of travel to Bett can prove a challenge.

So this year, the Bett team are able to offer heavily subsidised group coach travel to London for day trips to the show. Depending on group sizes and journey distances, the subsidised trips will be MUCH cheaper than travel on public transport. In some cases, it may even be possible to offer completely FREE travel. Group leaders may also be offered lunch vouchers, and it may be possible to subsidise teacher cover for group leaders able to assemble particularly large groups. The Bett team are particularly interested in extending this offer to groups from the southwest and northwest of England, the Midlands, Yorkshire, Humberside, East Anglia and Wales.
